Rowdy Investigating

It’s amazing what changes a week can bring.

Three more weeks until Rowdy comes home.

Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

Rowdy at Three Weeks

This is Rowdy (a Rhodesian Ridgeback) at three weeks.

He comes home April 15th.

There has been a great deal of activity and interest around this four-legged inspiration for my four-wheeled truck. You can read about that here – brian’s new Buddy!, Happy Birthday (insert name here) and, just being All me.

Note how, as he approaches the water bowl, he is sticking his tongue out like Michael Jordan.

Clearly his genius, if not virtuosity, is already and greatly evident.

Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

Happy Birthday (insert name here)

February14

The big day has arrived!

I am still considering the perfect name for my pal and Captain /1 (I have, however, already acquired a (big black and bad-ass) truck (Ford F-150) in which he can ride in both safety and comfort).

The poll included in the above referenced post would indicate early favorites for his name would be such diverse options as Mr. Tinkles (…sigh…) and Ranger. However, I rather fancy Jack or Roy – as in “Rob Roy” (although I am skeptical he will embark on a career as a Highland Rogue, even though I could relate to Rob Roy in his later years).

In any event, his Birthday picture can be viewed and admired below. My little friend is the third from the left. Noteworthy, if only for the moment, by his imperfect ridge, that will curtail any efforts to either show or breed him (and, endears him all the more to myself)

Note: Other than the liberal use of the alphabet and English language, this material is original. However, the photograph below (three males and three females) was taken by CeCe’s “Mommy” Kelly.

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
