two Apples equal one Kidney

I think it’s fair to say that more people use Android devices than Apple iOs (iPads, iPhones, iPods – and, soon, Macbooks) devices.

why not? Android devices are for the unenlightened masses (although more cool kids actually want an iPhone). anybody can have one. the experience is second-rate and quality control will always remain suspect. look, Google has more employees, spends more money on R&D, and can point to the Android platform having a majority market-share (although that depends on how you spin the numbers).

but, Google somehow still manages make a lot less money than Apple.

for me. it’s about value – both perceived and realized.

and, here is an extreme example:

Teenager sells kidney for ipad2

in summary, the 17-year-old fellow surnamed Zheng, a freshman in high school, got connected with a kidney-selling agent through the internet, who pledged to pay him 20,000 yuan (that’s $3,084.45 US ) for one of his kidneys.

according to the story, on April 28 of this year, Zheng went to Chenzhou, Hunan Province to have his kidney removed under the supervision of three so-called middlemen, and received the 22,000 yuan. he then returned home with an Apple iPad and an iPhone.

just to further my point, you can now get approximately twelve (12) Android devices for the same kidney.

did you know that seventy-three percent (73%) of all CEO’s in North America use an iPhone? there is a vital difference between being a leader and a follower (back to the masses, thing). don’t take my word for it. take your own notice. do it!

peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
