Food for thought…

green peasI eat little meat, as a condiment for my vegetables. peas are my favorite. I love peas. any kind of green peas (there is an astonishing variety). carrots, not so much.

were you aware that green vegetables absorb many negative things from the body? you certainly do now.

I don’t drink much. but, I can hang with anybody. however, Southern Comfort and Coke is preferred when prevailed upon. mind you, three is the limit. that’s the gentleman’s view.

and, I am typically up before dawn.

obviously I bathe daily – mostly because of my physical training regimen. and, I have a quirk, learned from my Grandad, where I bathe my feet in cold water each day.

I hear more and more often these days, that others too, are following this practice, call it a ritual. they have read this Blog.

my life has a pattern: heady achievement undercut by humbling reverse, happiness taxed by humiliation. for now the drumbeat of events have drowned out recrimination. somehow, some how this more often sets the stage for heady achievement.

I am a creature of change. that certainly abounds.

and, I want to be a good example of Darwin’s view.  good being a juxtapositional word,

peace to my Brothers and Sisters.

He said it, not Me

This from the inestimable Dr. Anthony Mari, who happens to be a GREAT chiropractor, proactive health aficionado, and a hearty and ferocious entrepreneur…

The timing is of consequence as I am looking to buy a vineyard, and I recently discovered that Publix is carrying Fat Tire beer.

To wit:

“To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine… And those who don’t and are always seen with a bottle of water in their hand.

As Ben Franklin said:

In wine there is wisdom,

In beer there is freedom,

In water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, Scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) – bacteria Found in faeces (poo).

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poo..

However, We do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process

of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:

Water = Poo,

Wine = Health

Therefore, it’s better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information…

I’m doing it as a public service!

CHEERS !!!

Anthony”

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
