I’m feeling on top of my game, today. this despite only using Google-centric products. this includes:
Chrome, a Chromebox, Airdroid, (very slick and polished – especially for an Android/ Chrome App) Gmail, an Android device, and an Nexus 7 (tablet).
one of the best parts of my own “job” is connecting best-of-class people.
this morning I had a Gartner executive tell me recently that my rolodex is worth $1B. while I’m skeptical, myself, I’ll warrant the number could be relevant depending on what part of the globe the sun happens to be setting on a particular moment.
this afternoon I had a coaching client report in last night after I had connected him with a past executive coaching client. My response to him was:
“You both breathe ‘rare air’. Bad-asses have their own radar. The Laws of Natural Selection create the right kind of pack.”
one of the best things I ever heard my Grandad say was,
“if you’re going to judge a man, do it by those around him”.
Let’s be part of the Solution.

quote #63:
“action creates activity”. you only get the brass ring if you reach for it.
maybe that’s two quotes. …or, a combo.
just don’t forget it.

every now and then, usually back during some when, words are written that so bluntly true, powerful and elegant that they stand alone. until someone lesser, such as myself, feels like they must add to them, as I have.
“When love is suppressed, hate takes it’s place” – Havelock Ellis
in any event, once you start rolling the above quote through you head, you will begin to come up with countless example.

The moment was an eye-opener, to be sure, when I realized I was one of “they”.
“They” (possibly, also known as “others”) say that your income is the average of the five people that you spend the most time with (outside of your family).
This helps make my Grandad’s point when he often said: “If you must judge a man, do it by those around him”.
The thinking around this post is not driven by statistics. And, this is some what unusual for me. I’ll typically make my point with hard data to support them – all of them.
However, here, I’m making a statement that I believe is true. This belief is driven by instinct. And, I trust my instincts. I will be investigating my theory. But, in the meantime, your own gut will follow my position.
Don’t bother attempting to defy or debate me. I’ve reached a higher plane.
This may not make you part of the solution. But, it’s a start. A big part of our job should be making money. It’s okay to do that. Really. I’ll write you a note.
Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.
