I’ve just met with one of those people that change and affect everyone around them, always. I’m standing here thinking, “do we allow good things to happen, or make great things occur?
I’m inspired.
he was more interested in capturing what was happening on the day. I think he’s like a guy poised with a butterfly net and waiting for that “moment of truth” to go by.
but, he can recognize that moment for what it means and what it might be worth. and, he evidently makes it work for everyone around him.
updated 05/17/2011 with two additional thoughts:
your outer life is your reputation with people, but your inner life is your reputation with God.
and,
thankfulness depends on what is in your heart, not what is in your hand.
living for the moment, and your fellow man. that’s a great life and example.
peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

Our current president Barack Obama (just in case you forgot) may not be an inspiring leader, but he is certainly an aspiring celebrity. You can read more than enough about that, here. Now Elisabeth Hasselbeck can gush about Michelle Obama being “just like Jackie-O”!
Obama clearly meant it when he promised that his tour in the White House would be one of great change.
I wonder when he might name Don King to his cabinet?
Oprah must be so proud!
Remember this?

Jin penned this heartfelt anthem for his presidential choice after learning about Obama. He didn’t stop there though; he took it a step further by setting up a campaign fund for Obama, so that a portion of proceeds from the song would go to the senator’s camp. The move landed him on Obama’s Myspace friends list (how cliche). Imagine that.
I have a call into Jin to sort out how he feels about Obama, today. Stay tuned.
Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

So…
Matt Damon, a famous actor (celebrity) and opinionator (I probably made that word up – but, it’s my Blog) is apparently fearful that Sarah Palin could end up the President of the United States (He is probably more affected by the notion of Obama NOT winning [for some reason]).
Says the handsome political pundit:
“You do the actuary tables, there’s a one out of three chance, if not more, that McCain doesn’t survive his first term, and it’ll be President Palin,”. It’s like a really bad Disney movie, The Hockey Mom. Oh, I’m just a hockey mom from Alaska, and she’s president. She’s facing down Vladimir Putin and using the folksy stuff she learned at the hockey rink. It’s absurd.”
Hey Matt: Would you rather we had Sarah Palin standing over Vladimir Putin with a hockey stick, or Barack Obama hiding behind his wife with that smug look on his face?
Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.
