Brian Patrick Cork is living the Authentic Life

clarification: Original Sin

Shortly after Daniel Florien explains (apparently one of many reasons) why he discarded Christianity on his own Blog Unreasonable Faith, Teleprompter, in a Comment, offered a exhibitive rare explanation for Original Sin:

[Original Sin is like] a parent leaving a hot stove on, not telling the child that it’s dangerous, and then smacking the child for hurting themselves.

And then cursing all of those child’s children for all time…

Two immediate thoughts…

Although I, myself, don’t pretend to be a Christian, I can’t see the point in discarding Christianity. Assuming God is GOD (and, I do), He makes the rules (and enforces them through measures, that might include, Natural Selection).

But, if (at least some) Christians view God’s position on sin as Telepromper does, then we have a chance at understanding the angst.

Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

A long goodbye

Today at 6pm life changed forever.

Am I mortal after all?

Am I the same person I was yesterday?

Will I be a good man tomorrow?

Now what?

Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
