The Unsinkable brian cork™

Brian Patrick Cork is living the Authentic Life

connections are as simple as 315

September21

I don’t know how in the hell (thats funny considering the content of this blog post) I come up with these post titles. but you gotta admit this is witty and apropos.

how many of you reading this know what apropos means without looking it up?

most of the following is part of an email exchange where I am working to connect several friends and other types.

read it. do it now! and, I’ll let you sort it out.

voila!

George Landolt (www.georgelandolt.com) meet Mark Pendleton (http://the315project.com/stories/mark-pendleton/ and www.linkedin.com/pub/mark-pendleton/1/907/864).

I consider George a dear and long-standing friend.

I coached Mark for awhile and have come to genuinely admire and respect him. I also suspect that he and I are destined to be in some form of business together. Meanwhile, God clearly is working diligently within him and girding him for epic battle on a plain most can’t comprehend; but I believe George is well-equipped to appreciate.

I’ll trust you good men to get acquainted. Only good will come of it.

Meanwhile, I am also throwing Todd Miechiels (http://the315project.com) into this fray. Although Todd kind of bugs me, I value the potential in this effort and believe it can be transformational. I walked with Todd for awhile but he can’t hear me very well. To be fair to Todd he has often asked me to connect him with certain types of people. And, for reasons that remain unclear to myself I often could not hear him. Although I did connect him with Mark (and Chip Brackley (www.linkedin.com/pub/chip-brackley/3/201/a11), with whom Mark is also connected [and, copied on this email as well just because the mood strikes me, and I kind of miss Chip]). While this is a convoluted message, I feel that it’s point needs to be George putting love on both Mark and Todd. My heart tells me George knows a lot of good men that will appreciate what Todd does. The power realized within his talents are clear and evident with Mark’s video.

Thank you, and all three (four, really) of you, for inspiring me at a level that is currently beyond measure.

By the way… My personal Blog is all “wonky” at the moment. I suspect it’s a WordPress update. but, George asked me recently why I’ve neglected it of late. My lame response was essentially, “I’ve been rather a bit uninspired”. However, I’m probably going to cut-and-past all of this into it to see what happens (and, I did just that).

For several reasons this makes me feel like a “tower jump”. So, now I gotta do it.

peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

Your Comment:

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
