bang this intelligently
In keeping with views, and certainly perspectives shared by the heterodox, and possibly an existentialist (this takes faith and religion, potentially, out of the equation – leaving enough room for belief), I found myself, in the midst, of a debate between a proponent of the “Big Bang Theory” and Intelligent Design.
I heard myself musing through a series of abstract questions, that included:
If the Big Bang theory is to be valued, shouldn’t we first ask what might the universe, time and space, whatever, and it’s contents, have looked like beforehand?
Was it a large piece of rock, or some other matter?
If there was an explosion, or event, of some type, that caused debris to be distributed throughout the cosmos, creating all the galaxies, why is every planet and celestial body, round -ish?
Could this mean the Big Bang was intelligently designed?
Meanwhile… I’m listening to Like a Prayer – in this instance, as performed by the Glee Cast. It’s pretty good, really. Madonna’s version was okay. Mad House’s rendition was slightly improved. However, John Wesley Harding’s effort was much better. Go find them all. Listen to them. Do it!
Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.
