taking a position on Faith instead of making a stand

April11

Perhaps faith is about doing. You are how you act, not just how you believe.

Any given day, Man faces both the gift and the punishment. This may come down to how we reflect and represent one another and our creator.

I’m taking the position that we were created with great promise and with a promise (you see… reader, I think there just might be a fine-line of difference, here; a nuance, perhaps). When we fail ourselves, and one another, we realize punishment, in one form or another.

Redemption can be a topic for another day. But therein lies the promise.

So… I think my faith is man and mankind. And, thusly, I’ll put my faith in mankind.

And, perhaps, this explains (to me) my own path, and why, from-time-to-time, I’m good at what I do. I invest in the lives of men, daily. And, the returns on that investment are rewards that can’t be measured, only by myself.

Peace be to your Brothers and Sisters.

It is amazing that you are still so egocentric. I know you feel you have moved passed such writings and beliefs behind those blue eyes. It is truly apparent that you are fooling yourself! Life is short and we all figure out at some point who our friend are and were.

I’ll admit to not following you here.

Anonymity offers it’s own cross to bear, does it not?

Or, perhaps you are lost in your cups, again.

We’ve said it here, many a time: “don’t text and drive”. Lets add: don’t drink and comment on Blogs you can’t understand.

Oh… And, I’ll add: friends are legion.

Not really-when one knows who it might be!! When the other is afraid to expose the anonymity! It is a shame not as easy as texting and driving as one would believe-so drinking does not always have everything to do with thoughts and beliefs. Oh… And, my friends are BEYOND legion!!

Then why your own attempts at anonymity?

In any event, another question: What is wrong with having faith in mankind? And also: What do you read in my post that is relevant to texting and driving – and, drinking as well?

My vote (and, I helped good men put that into local legislation for teens only recently) would have us combine none of that!

I fear your points are lost on me. But, let’s please keep trying. You strike me as one lost. There is certainly a light for you some where. And, I’m here, raising my hand, and willing to help.

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
