fearless leadership (less)

So… You can read more details here, in one of my earlier posts (over 300,000 hits on that one): healthcare is not for You. Do it!

But, let’s focus on a key point that isn’t getting nearly enough press by the Obamacratic-oriented media.

Did you know that Obama refers to high-end health plans as “cadillac plans”?

Its true!

…indirectly, anyway.

It’s also an over-broad and general shot at a very complicated and deeply-trenched problem that may create more problems than solutions – especially for the affluent (but, that is part of the Democrats mission statement, after all). Remember, Democrats like to secure cushy government jobs that offer better (under publicized) benefits, and then bring in friends and family while insisting that strangers (entrepreneurs) foot the bill.

However, what is absolutely true is that Obama positions the cadillac plans as economically unfair and unpatriotic. However, he’ll manage to side step any confirmation that he, along with his executive staff and members of the House and Senate, have access to that very level of plan – and, for only $503.00 a month.

That’s your fearless leader.

Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

Thanks Brian for your candor, and challenging sarcastic intent: that is, Obama as “fearless leader”– yes, we thought, we hoped, and well…

If you can be a cultural architect, I’m a cultural therapist, and frankly, Obama is not “fearless” (as you hint at in his own penchant for ‘cadilacs’)… I accuse Obama not to be insensitive or demeaning of what good things he has done and intends to do. But intention is not all that counts. However, I really wanted to put in my two cents here because I think our country like others, ought to take serious what it would mean to have a fearless leader (and policies) and education in a nation for liberational means. I am a professional educator and researcher-author, having just completed my new book– which does critique Obama in the sense he is hardly “fearless” in terms of the classification system in my book. If you or others want to have a look just email me and I’ll send you a pdf book flyer, and/or go to any book sellers on line. My book title: “The World’s Fearlessness Teachings: A Critical Integral Approach to Fear Management/Education for the 21st Century” (University Press of America, 2010). Feel free to send this book to Obama and his staff if you know how to do that. Pass the gift of fearlessness on…

    Hello Dr. Fisher.

    And, welcome here.

I’m struggling with a balance between my desire to be a patriot, but also my instincts. So, you might want to consider one of my latest observations around the “obama situation” in my post change Commodities.

To wit: “Assuming God has the plan (and I do). What if He is using Obama, in an unexpected way – to break this country so it can begin to heal itself, later?”

Meanwhile, please send your book over. My mailing address is: 178 South Main Street – Suite 100 Alpharetta, GA 30009.

I’ll wonder if you are not a Prudent and Optimistic Gentleman.

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
