Lacrosse dna
Friday Haley Anne announced, out of the blue mind you, that she wanted to participate in a Lacrosse camp this summer.
Upon hearing the news I tried to remain calm and appear nonchalant although my heart was pounding with the possibility of bursting with pride.
Saturday I went to Dicks (sporting goods) and purchased a bag of fresh Lacrosse balls. That afternoon we dug up some sticks and started casting.
Haley Anne was awesome.
She caught the ball a bit awkwardly – but, it stuck. And, she was throwing it right to me with some power and accuracy.
This evening is the first night of camp. I plan on leaving work early to get ready so I can drive her over.
Some how the air tastes all the sweeter this morning.
Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.
