Courage Resolute
I suppose that I should visit the dictionary in preparation for this. After all, I can’t pretend to immediately know some of the words I want to use when I write. In fact, I have learned so much, and improved my own vocabulary through this very Blog.
In the past few days I have been pondering the potential difference between the meaning of the words courage and resolute.
I believe courage is something you have to sort out for yourself. But, in my particular case, being resolute is best facilitated through and with friends when given the opportunity to walk with us as beacons, shedding light and truth. They help us see what we are capable of, and where we best not tread. Their own resolve to be our friends sets both the example and forms the foundation of courage.
My Grandad once said:
“If you are going to judge a man, do it by the people he surrounds himself with.”
Update: I have just been advised, and this appears by providence, given the medium through which the message is delivered that:
“Courage is fear prayed for.”
And, yet another update: This offering, by way of a friend, from Youtube may offer another perspective:
Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

Courage is responsive in nature, inflamed, even heroic while resolute is a commitment to see a conviction through…at least that’s how I see them.
Either way…I wish you both…and wisdom too my friend.

Yet another excellent perspective.
