Brian Patrick Cork is living the Authentic Life

Kris Portera

January21

This morning at 0530, Kris Portera, the owner of Nantucket Sandwich Shop – and, my friend, passed away, and relinquished herself to God.

Perspective…

“The old die because they’re old. The young die because they can. When the young die, we shouldn’t ask, ‘Why did
they die? Why did God take them?’…that is unanswerable.

Rather, we should ask, ‘Why did this person live? And what can I learn from them in the way they lived their life?’”

– Rev. John McNamee in Philadelphia

Meanwhile…

Go to iTunes and down load Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley and Waiting For My Real Life To Begin and Beautiful World by Colin Hay.

…more later. Maybe not.

Peace to my Brothers and Sisters

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
