Brian Patrick Cork is living the Authentic Life

tilting Don Quixote

March14

I have my mind, yet again, set upon the task of reading Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes.

However, as I prepare myself for this self indulgence, I may only pause, over my own ignorance and indecision, due to the broad selection of editions, and translations, available.

So, I shall reach out to you lot – those that read me, and secure your assistance with best recommendations.

To wit… Comment on your favourite translation, and why.

By the way… See the picture of little Rowdy in the post below? It is my fullest intention to read that book to him (mine very own Sancho mayhaps?), with Haley Anne and Emma Jo nestled on either side each and every night.

Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
