$100 Question

January7

So…

…fyi…

Apparently telling an over weight person that their head looks smaller is not a compliment (even though you are not directly referencing the weight issue).

In any event…

Here is a riddle for you.

I will accept comments on this.

You can have the $100, or I will donate it to your favorite charity.

Here we go…

“What rhymes with “purple”, and looks like a hundred bucks?”

Meanwhile, I am listening to “Grace Is Gone” as performed by Dave Mathews and “Hallelujah” by Jeff Buckley.

Peace be to my Brothers and Sisters.

“$100 Question”

  1. Avatar January 12th, 2009 at 1:24 pm Z. Kelly Queijo Says:

Purple is a word that’s hard to rhyme
Gerple, furple, burple come to mind
    Their meaning not yet defined–
The challenge to create the first of its kind.

But in the land of the Brits, it has been done
There is a word that rhymes with Purple
It means to hobble, limp or walk undone
And that word of course is “hirple.”

If your offer is still in check
Send the $100 to the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

What’s All This About?

"What am I looking at?", you might wonder.

Lots of stuff.

Meanwhile, here, I discuss events, people and things in our world - and, my (hardly simplistic, albeit inarticulate) views around them.

You'll also learn things about, well, things, like people you need to know about, and information about companies you can't find anywhere else.

So, while I harangue the public in my not so gentle way, you will discover that I am fascinated by all things arcane, curious about those whom appear religious, love music, dabble in politics, loathe the media, value education, still think I am an athlete, and might offer a recipe.

All the while, striving mightily, and daily, to remain a prudent and optimistic gentleman - and, authentic.
